The Leiria Veterinary Hospital has joined the ONEVET Group (part of the UNAVETS Group), reinforcing the presence of the Group in Central Portugal, in Leiria city, which is located about an hour and a half north of Lisbon.
Managed by 2 partners, Ricardo Alves and Lara Antunes, and a practice manager Nelson Antunes, it is a Hospital characterized for being the largest Veterinary Hospital in Leiria and has a team of 17 professionals, including 9 veterinarians, 5 nurses and 2 veterinary assistants. It is a generalist practice, with an area of approximately 400m2, composed of three consulting rooms (one of which is dedicated exclusively to feline internal medicine), one operating room equipped to perform soft tissue surgery and orthopedics, imaging room with digital radiology and ultrasound, in addition to hospitalization areas arranged according to the species and type of disease diagnosed. The facility is well positioned to continue to grow veterinary activities in several areas such as internal medicine, soft tissue surgery, orthopedics, imaging, ophthalmology and chemotherapy.
Many synergies are expected from this collaboration, and both the Onevet Group and the owners are excited by the prospect of working together.
