ACV's Clinical Training Day (December 2-3 - IMVA, Amurrio, Álava)
From the IMVA headquarters in Amurrio, Álava, Erika Cornejo, HCV Coordinator of the UAB, taught essential knowledge about feline blood pressure, types of diets, nutritional assessment, nutritional management of the hospitalized patient, types of fluids, creation of fluid therapy plans, transfusions, and complications. Her certification by the Academy of Veterinary Emergency & Critical Care Technicians and Nurses (AVECCTN) ensures expert guidance in emergencies and intensive care.
Surgery and Radiology in Felines: Dental Extractions (December 15 - Veterios Referral Hospital, Madrid)
Dr. Javier Collados, with extensive experience and accredited by the American Veterinary Dental Society (AVDS), led this practical workshop at the Veterios Referral Hospital in Madrid. Participants explored dental anatomy, radiographic techniques, and performed dental extractions in cats, consolidating their skills under the guidance of an expert.
ACV's Clinical Training Day (December 16 - Veterios Hospital, Madrid)
Paloma del Rosal, a Veterinary Clinical Assistant with international experience, led this day at the Veterios Hospital in Madrid. With her training in the operating room and her outstanding role in the area, she offered valuable knowledge for veterinary clinical assistants, reinforcing the importance of practical training.
Anaesthesia workshop at Hospital Veterinario San Bernardo, Moncofar, Castellón, Spain.
Taught by José Ignacio Redondo García, Professor of Anaesthesiology and Head of the Anaesthesia Department of the Hospital Clínico Veterinario of the CEU Cardenal Herrera University. He is a member of several associations and working groups related to veterinary anaesthesia at national and international level, demonstrating a high level of expertise. The training was a great success.
Conference on Locoregional Anaesthesia at the Instituto Médico Veterinario de Álava (IMVA), Amurrio, Álava.
Led by Miguel Ángel Cabezas, Resident of the European College of Veterinary Anaesthesia and Analgesia (ECVAA).
