UNAVETS adds three new clinics to its network in Spain

UNAVETS has announced the incorporation of three new clinics to its network: Clínica Veterinaria A Media Lúa, in A Coruña; Hospital Veterinario Ciutat d'Inca, in Mallorca; and Centre Veterinari del Pla, in Mollerussa (Lleida). 

With these three new additions, UNAVETS now has 117 centers in Spain and Portugal, reinforcing its coverage throughout the Iberian Peninsula. 

 

Clínica Veterinaria A Media Lúa is a general veterinary clinic with more than 15 years of experience. It is run by María Tejera and María Victoria Dopico and has a team of 14 professionals: 7 veterinarians, 4 veterinary assistants, 2 receptionists, and a cleaner. 

Its facilities include three consultation rooms (two for dogs and one for cats), an X-ray room, an ultrasound room, a preoperative room, an operating room, a laboratory, a hospitalization area for dogs and cats, and a waiting room for dogs and cats. The clinic offers a wide range of services, including general medicine, 24-hour emergency care, hospitalization, surgery, laboratory tests, ultrasound, radiology, grooming, and a specialty store. 

The clinical directors, María Tejera and María Victoria, have expressed their enthusiasm for being part of the group: "After years of hard work to make A Media Lúa what it is today, we have decided to join the UNAVETS Group to continue growing in what we believe in most: the training and specialization of our team, and thanks to their support, to develop personalized attention and the best possible quality." 

Hospital Veterinario Ciutat d'Inca is a reference veterinary center in Mallorca. It is directed by César Villarroya and Diana De Juan Mohán and has a team of 11 veterinarians and 6 assistants. 

The hospital has facilities that include consultation rooms, separate hospitalization areas for dogs and cats, large and small animals, and one for infectious animals. It also has its own laboratory, operating room, ultrasound room, X-ray, CT scan, and endoscopy equipment. The hospital also offers 24-hour emergency services, hospitalization, internal medicine, general surgery, traumatology, and neurology. 

In words of the directors of the hospital, César and Diana: "We have been dedicated for years to offering a quality service to our clients and patients. After achieving our professional dream with the opening of the new hospital, we are excited about this new stage that we are starting together with UNAVETS. Centre Veterinari del Pla is a general veterinary clinic with more than 30 years of experience. It is directed by Dolors Corredera and has a team of 11 professionals: 5 veterinarians, 4 assistants, and a receptionist, who are trained and specialized in all areas of veterinary science. 

The clinic offers a wide range of services, including diagnostics, laboratory tests, imaging, and surgery. In addition, the center has a specialty store with all kinds of pet products. 

The clinic director, Dolors Corredera has stated that "After 31 years dedicated to the clinic, having evolved in services and number of staff, our center has joined UNAVETS. Our desire is to continue providing a quality service and proximity to our patients, and to evolve and grow to offer the best of us with the magnificent support that UNAVETS gives us."
