Iberzoo+Propet, the most important national veterinary fair for pet professionals, took place on the 10th, 11th and 12th of March. In parallel, VetMadrid2022, the scientific congress organised by AMVAC, was also held at the same facilities. Both events were held in Hall 9 of the IFEMA exhibition centre in Madrid.
The UNAVETS Group participated as a sponsor of the fair and had its own stand to present its more than 67 centres in the Iberian Peninsula, 30 located in Spain and 37 in Portugal.
It was also the ideal place to learn about the advantages of being part of the UNAVETS Group. These days were also a professional meeting place for the clinical directors of UNAVETS centres, whom we invited to be present at the fair and the congress, along with other professionals who attended the event.
On 11th March, our Marketing and Alliances Director, Jaime Díaz Sacristán, took part in a round table discussion at the 4th Forum of the pet sector trade and industry organised by AEDPAC. Jaime shared the table with three other professionals from the sector and addressed issues such as the phenomenon of concentration of retailers, distributors and veterinary centres in the value chain in the Spanish petcare market.
The final day concluded with a presentation in the Aula Veterinaria, the Iberzoo+Propet commercial exhibition, given by Jaime Díaz and Felipe de Vicente, clinical director of Veterios, on the latest developments of the UNAVETS Group and the new Veterios Veterinary Reference Hospital.
