VETS&PETS joins ONEVET (UNAVETS GROUP)

The Vets&Pets Group, consisting of a reference clinic and a [veterinary office], is located in the center of the city of Porto, has just joined the OneVet Group, reinforcing the Group's expertise and cluster in in the city of Porto and itsfocus on excellent veterinary healthcare.The Vets&Pets Group, consisting of the Vets&Pets Clinic and the Alameda Clinic, was established in March 2013, at the time by Pedro Carvalho and Alexandre Fontes, veterinarians with several years of experience, who were joined by Bruno Cunha at the end of the same year.

This experienced team allowed the growth of the unit and the opening of another small clinic at a short distance from the first unit, expanding the geographical coverage in a relevant residential area of the city of Porto.

The Group provides differentiated services, including soft tissues surgery, ophthalmological surgery, laparoscopy, in addition to several complementary means of diagnosis from X-rays, ultrasounds and clinical analysis, all services performed with its own resources. The Group has a focus on animal welfare, including in its services also a PetSpa.  Currently, the team is comprised of ten employees, 4 vets, 3 nurses, 2 support staff/groomers and front desk receptionists.

Recently, the Group has carried out a refurbishment of the Clinic’s facilities, with the creation of a third consultation room, in order to respond to the growth of its activity, and a refresh of its image in the main areas of frequency by clients.
