The Ani Mar Group, a prominent and strategic group serving the North Coast region of Portugal for the last 24 years, has just joined the OneVet Group. This group acquisition reinforces the presence of OneVet Group at a national level, showing the Group is continuing its growth trajectory.
The Grupo Ani Mar is comprised of a Hospital in Póvoa do Varzim and two clinics, one in Fão and the other in Esposende, which are led by Miguel Matos, Clinical Director and manager of the Group's units. Miguel founded the Group and has been responsible for its growth since it started in 1999 with a small clinic to where the Group is today.
The Ani Mar Hospital, with an area of approximately 360m2, is the oldest hospital in the region and has a large waiting room, 6 consultation rooms (4 for dogs and 2 for cats / exotic animals), a training room, an RX room, a preparation room, an operating room, differentiated hospitalization for dogs and cats and infectious / non-infectious and an ultrasound room.
The Ani Mar team is an extended team of more than 40 professionals with advanced training in surgery, internal medicine, ultrasound and non-conventional medicines (accupuncture and ozone therapy) that will now be supported by OneVet's local shared services team, as well as the OneAcademy learning platform, reinforcing its resources in differentiated areas.
