Bierzoo Veterinary Hospital, a 24-hour hospital providing first opinión, specialist and emergency care, opened its doors in March 2023 with a brand new 500 m2 facility.
The hospital is presented as a comprehensive option to meet the local demand of pets and their owners in the Bierzo region. Among the services offered by this modern hospital are 24-hour on-site emergencies, independent hospitalisation for dogs and cats, CAT scans, ultrasound scans, x-rays and independent consultations for both felines and canines. It also offers medical specialities such as feline medicine, exotic animal specilization, traumatology and orthopaedics, dermatology, ophthalmology, internal medicine and minimally invasive surgery.
In addition to these services, the hospital has three consult and two operating theator rooms, a laboratory equipped with state-of-the-art technology, allowing for accurate and efficient on-the-spot diagnostic tests.
The team of Clínicas Veterinarias Bierzoo, who manage 2 other locations (Bembibre and Cacabelos) in the broader región, has been enthusiastic about the opportunity to collaborate with both pet owners and other veterinary professionals in the area.
