San Francisco de Asís Veterinary Clinic, in Málaga, joins the UNAVETS Group

The veterinary clinic San Francisco de Asís, located in the municipality of Marbella and directed by Pablo Medina since 2006, has joined the UNAVETS Group. The team is comprised of a team of 6 veterinarians and 6 nurses.

The clinic has three consultation rooms, two fully equipped operating theaters, a laboratory, ultrasound and radiology equipment, and also offers laparoscopy, endoscopy and minimally invasive surgery, dermatology, internal medicine and ophthalmology specialty services. The center also has hospitalization rooms for healthy and infectious animals, a park for walking and a large parking lot.

Manuel Amador, Business Manager of UNAVETS, says: “The center together with its specialists offers many possibilities. The team is very stable and cohesive and is located in a privileged location - it is a very beneficial addition for the UNAVETS Group in the South of Spain and we look forward to supporting the practice’s continued growth and expansion.”

Pablo Medina, clinical director of the centre, comments on the incorporation to UNAVETS: “Being part of UNAVETS will add to our reputation as a quality veterinary healthcare provider, and we know they will provide us with a renovation and expansion of our facilities and quality professional development and clinical training for our entire team.”

Junko Sheehan, CEO of UNAVETS, comments: “Training continues to be a huge focus for our group and the vets, nurses and front desk receptionists in our clinical teams. We look forward to San Francisco de Asís taking advantage of our theoretical and practical clinical training program, OneAcademy. In a time when vets are stretched and overworked, we cannot forget to make time for them to be able to take part in team buildings, continuous training and mentorship of clinical expertise on an ongoing basis.”
