UNAVETS celebrates its Second SUMMIT 2022 Congress, gathering more than 130 attendees that make up the group from Spain and Portugal

From November 28th to 30th, the second Annual SUMMIT 2022 Convention of the UNAVETS Group took place in Amoreira, Portugal. The event was attended by more than 130 directors of veterinary clinics and hospitals from both countries that make up the group, as well as special guests, the corporate shared services team, collaborators and leading partners in the sector.

The Congress was held at the Praia D'El Rey Marriot Golf & Beach Resort Hotel, north of Lisbon, where the participants had the opportunity to attend some interesting conferences and presentations prepared by the corporate team focused on the evolution and future trends, technological development, expansion, marketing and the commitment to the talent of the more than 900 people who today make up the clinical and business support team.

The panels also included special collaborators such as María Wilhelm, general director of Earthship, executive producer of documentaries focused on animals and sustainability and conservation efforts, in collaboration with National Geographic / Disney + and the James Cameron Foundation.

The participants also had time to carry out fun teambuilding projects and share more relaxed moments to get to know each other and share the connection, vocation and passion for the veterinary sector.

On the last day, a special dinner took place in which Junko Sheehan, CEO of the UNAVETS Group, presented a series of awards that recognized the clinics and hospitals with the most outstanding results, the teams with the most resilience in the face of challenges, to colleagues that work closest to the clinical teams and, in short, to those people who, with their efforts, have made UNAVETS a leader in the veterinary sector today, with more than 90 centers in Spain and Portugal.  The group has great growth expectations for its future, and will continue to provide the best support to clinical teams thanks to its strong commitment to this unification of resources and professionals.

The end of the event was considered a complete success.
Ricard Badía, director of the Abat Marcet Veterinary Hospital, in Terrassa “At the Congress we felt like we were part of a big family with projects and great enthusiasm. Thanks to UNAVETS for the effort! With you we have been able to share experiences and a good atmosphere. Thank you all".
