UNAVETS starts its work in Spain.

UNAVETS, the veterinary group belonging to the international Marconi Group, has entered the Spanish veterinary market. Its objective is to acquire veterinary centres and provide them with marketing, management, training and equipment resources necessary to increase their service excellence and profitability. The centres that join the group maintain their image and structure and will be able to focus on quality medicine, delegating the rest of the tasks to the central services.

UNAVETS' structure is made up of professionals with extensive experience in the small animal clinic sector.

Manuel Amador, head of Operations, has 30 years of experience in large companies such as Pfizer and Zoetis and was recently co-director at VETSIA.

Jaime Diaz, head of Marketing and Alliances, has a long career working in different positions at Pfizer and Zoetis and was a manager at AMVAC.

Miguel Casado, Head of Platform Development, has worked for companies such as 3M, Royal Canin and Scil.

Marconi is an integrated private investment management company, with a strong focus on the deployment of M&A platforms. It encompasses investment, incubation and asset development, portfolio management for value enhancement and focuses on operational improvement and repositioning.
