Training conferences in abdominal ultrasound delivered in Badajoz and Almería

Following the success of his recent training sessions, on 2nd February Pedro Esteve Romero, Clinical Director of Diagnosfera, ran a further course on abdominal ultrasound at the San Sebastián Clinic in Almería - one of UNAVETS’ two facilities in the city, alongside the 24-hour hospital, Nueva Andalucía.

The training session was aimed at both UNAVETS Group veterinarians, as well as professionals from other Andalusian centers, and is part of UNAVETS’ continuing education program. On this occasion, the session was sponsored by Boehringer-Ingelheim.

After receiving theoretical training, the attendees began to put what they had learned into practice with different patients under Pedro's supervision.

During the practical session, they had the opportunity to use advanced Fuji ultrasound machines which they were able to use to improve their skills.

We’re delighted that the workshop was rated as ‘excellent’ by the attendees. Training courses such as these are in UNAVETS’ DNA and vital to offering quality treatment and care. UNAVETS invests strongly in training and this year we’re aiming to offer more than 50 courses to our 1,000 members of staff across Spain and Portugal.
