UNAVETS signs strategic partnerships with learning platforms, IFEVET and I-VET strengthening its Employee Training Offering

UNAVETS, one of the fastest growing veterinary groups in Europe, has signed an agreement with the Instituto de Formación en Especialidades Veterinarias (IFEVET) that further strengthens its industry-leading training offering to its employees.

IFEVET’s aim is to provide state-of-the-art and practical training in various areas of veterinary medicine to ensure practitioners are up to date with the latest innovations and developments. Recently dubbed the “Netflix of veterinary medicine,” it offers a broad spectrum of online training courses and clinical case reviews through its team of more than 150 leading veterinary specialists.

This agreement has been made possible thanks to the collaboration of Royal Canin, and ensures that UNAVETS and ONEVET veterinarians, nurses and clinical assistants will have access to the entire suite of IFEVET’s educational resources. It also represents another major development for UNAVETS’ training offering, which already includes its OneAcademy platform that provides multiple avenues of learning for the group’s vets and nurses.

Thanks to IFEVET’s app and web platform, UNAVETS employees will be able to access IFEVET’s resources at any time and from anywhere. In addition, IFEVET’s flexible web and app platform provides a user-friendly and personalised learning experience that adapts to the needs and schedules of busy veterinary professionals.
The agreement will also allow clinical teams to collaborate and participate in case discussions with other veterinary professionals more effectively, allowing them to receive second opinions, share knowledge and learn from their colleagues.

This partnership with IFEVET is a demonstration of UNAVETS’ ongoing commitment to providing its employees with the best training and development opportunities and reflects the group’s mission of promoting healthy pets, healthy vets, and a healthy planet. By investing in quality ongoing education and wellbeing initiatives for its team, UNAVETS is able to offer the best possible healthcare to its pet patients.

Enrique Cardona, Country Manager of UNAVETS Spain, commented: "We are very proud of this partnership with IFEVET, as it reinforces our position as a leader in the training of our veterinarians and our commitment to remain at the forefront of educational innovation in the field of veterinary medicine."

UNAVETS has also taken a significant step towards enhancing its postgraduate specialist educational offering by forming a strategic partnership with I-VET.  I-VET, headquartered in Valencia, offered postgraduate and other training courses to 500 veterinarians and nurses last year across Spain and Portugal.
This collaboration has enabled UNAVETS to expand its reach, and offer veterinary students a state-of-the-art online training platform, as well as in-person and online postgraduate training offerings.  Thanks to the I-VET platform, students will now be able to access a wide range of interactive resources, specialised courses, and hands-on learning tools.
Founder and Director of I-VET, Jorge Llinás, commented: “At I-VET, we have worked with effort, enthusiasm and commitment to achieve excellence in veterinary training and to share it with our colleagues in the sector.  Our motto is “If you want to go fast, walk alone, but if you want to go far, let’s walk together.” Our belief in this motto is why we are very proud of our strategic partnership with UNAVETS and why we are looking to strike other similar partnerships in the sector.”
